Dr. Maisha Hazzard was invited to teach a class at Agape International
Spiritual Center.  The description is below. A similar course will be
taught at Khepra in May and June, 2006.

TLHW701: Science & Spirituality
This is an 8- week seminar in which we consider how both science and spirituality
engage us in the search for Truth about who we are, what we can become, and
how we can transform our lives in positive ways. Over the past 100 years,
discoveries and discussions in biology, genetics, physics, quantum mechanics,
fractal geometry, astronomy, neuroscience, behavioral science, computer
science, along with medical science and other scientific disciplines have been
converging with spiritual knowledge found in Ancient Wisdom and New Thought
teachings. Guiding questions for the class are: How do discoveries in science
validate and illuminate ancient wisdom about the nature of reality, How can
discoveries in science help us refine our practice of prayer, meditation, hearing
and self actualization. How do bodies of knowledge in science and spirituality
converge to give us a greater understanding about individual and group
consciousness?
